Karen's Craft Addiction

Our Story

Karen’s Craft Addiction was born from a lifetime of creating and a heart that simply can’t sit still. Now recently retired, I finally get to craft purely for the love of it — and truthfully, I’ve been making things for as long as I can remember. From sewing and ceramics to glass etching, tumbler making, and hand-painted wood signs… if it can be created, I’ve probably tried it at least once.

I’m a proud mom of three and Grandma to seven amazing grandkids — known as Grandma, Memaw, or Bunkie (just depends on who’s calling 😉).

I’m also blessed to be happily married to my best friend and partner in crime. He supports me 110% — and he’s a big part of this little adventure. He handles much of the cutting and sanding, and I bring each piece to life with paint and finishing touches. It’s truly a team effort, built with love from both of us. (He might not agree with that) :0)

After retiring, we made the move to beautiful Nevada and have been loving every minute of it. When we’re not creating, we enjoy golfing, camping, exploring the Sierras, or dreaming about the ocean.

We currently participate in 5–6 craft fairs each year, and we’re excited to soon host paint parties in our new shop once it’s finished. What started as a lifelong hobby has grown into something even more meaningful — a way to share a little rustic farmhouse charm with a little sass, all handmade and painted with heart.

Nothing here is mass-produced. Every piece is crafted with care, love, and just a little bit of craft addiction.
